Modern tombstone production – The edge and curve grinding machine offers high flexibility and performance for demanding grinding tasks. The machine is used for grinding and polishing the edges of gravestones. The machine can process straight edges, edges, and curved edges with a small radius. All grinding steps can be carried out fully automatically in sequence via a tool magazine with automatic tool change.
With a maximum working width of 3,500 mm and a freely adjustable working length, it is suitable for a wide variety of workpiece sizes. The maximum workpiece thickness of 610 mm allows even larger parts to be processed. The 7 kW main motor provides powerful performance, while the feed rate of up to 20 m/min guarantees efficient processing with high throughput. The tool carriage is locked at 8×45°, which enables precise edge and arc machining. Various grinding programs are available (rectangle, zigzag, offset, etc.), and the grinding head automatically adapts to curved workpiece contours.
