Burkhardt-Löffler KSL 80: original approach

For more than 60 years, Vossen Naturstein has been a family business that focuses on craftsmanship and high quality and enables short delivery times thanks to its sophisticated machinery. The Burkhardt-Löffler KSL 80 fits seamlessly into the workflow of the company’s own workshop. „The machine is unique in its kind as it has a specially developed stationary work table,“ explains Case Manager Tom Vossen. „It doesn’t work with a conveyor belt like the others. We work a lot with window sills, and the stationary work table allows us to polish three pieces at the same time. In this way, we process both the long side and the front side in one pass.“ The fact that the KSL80 is ideal for window sills and door thresholds is due to the machine’s seven polishing heads, three heads with an upper bevel and three heads with a lower bevel, which glide automatically along the stationary work table. Marble, granite and similar materials can thus be polished to perfection. Another important feature is the ability to program the width of the upper and lower bevel individually via the touchscreen. In addition, the KSL impresses with its high-quality workmanship, durability and ease of maintenance.

Versatile

Burkhardt-Löffler is a leading machine manufacturer in the field of edge processing. The KSL series is tried and tested. It ensures perfect and reproducible edging results, even with materials such as ceramic and quartz. In addition, the machine can also optionally produce round edges (pencil edges), which makes it even more versatile. Burkhardt-Löffler also offers a wide range of sawing and milling parts for the KSL machines, which further increase the efficiency of the production process. The KSL concept has a modular structure. The wide range of advanced options allows the machine to be adapted to the company’s needs, both for SMEs and for industry. With more than fifty years of experience and a relentless focus on technical development, Burkhardt-Löffler guarantees machines for perfect edge processing. This quest for perfection and the emphasis on technical innovation and automation are embedded in the company’s DNA. You will also find it in the brand’s other products.
